Former TOWIE and Celebrity Big Brother star Lauren Goodger has revealed the suspected cause of her baby daughter's sudden death.
Baby Lorena, who weighed 9lb, died earlier this month, just minutes after arriving in the world. Mum Lauren, who has a one-year-old with partner Charles Drury, said she had a healthy pregnancy without any complications.
After her waters broke on July 6, she was advised to remain at home, under the watchful eye of her midwife, Tamzin, who previously delivered their first child, Larose. However, two days later during a routine check, Tamzin couldn't detect Lorena's heartbeat and called an ambulance.

Lauren was taken to her local hospital, where she delivered Lorena who was said to have a low heart rate, reports The Mirror. The 35-year-old said the room suddenly began to fill with doctors, who proceeded to perform chest compressions on the baby and give her adrenaline. Shortly afterwards, Lauren and Charles were given the devastating news.
Speaking to the Sun, Lauren opened up on the tragic events and revealed what doctor's believe could have caused Lorena's death. She said: "They think her oxygen may have been restricted because she had two knots in her cord but normally babies can still get enough oxygen despite this.
"This is why I am having an autopsy. I need to understand medically how she died for my own sanity. Lorena should be here with me. I held her and she looked like she was sleeping. I thought she would wake up."
She further said her daughter's death had been "the most traumatic experience of my life". Lauren added: "Since Lorena passed away, I have had so many messages from other women who have gone through this too. I want to talk about her death to help other parents out there going through this. I want them to know they aren't alone."
Lauren announced the death of her second child on Instagram on July 10. Captioning a black-and-white image of herself holding her baby's hand, she wrote: "Lorena. 08.07.22. She was the most beautiful healthy baby I've ever seen just like her sister.
"Words can't describe as a mother losing your baby that I carried for all these months perfectly and gave birth too for my angel to be taken from me.
"There was no pregnancy or labour complications and she was fine & healthy but I am not going into detail right now just know that there was nothing wrong with her or myself she was perfect I can't understand it she is so so beautiful Larose twin so similar."
