Tennessee Titans free agent wide receiver Marcus Johnson has found a new home in the NFC West after one season in Nashville.
According to his agent, Johnson has agreed to terms with the San Francisco 49ers. The details of his contract with San Fran are not yet known.
Johnson signed with Tennessee in 2021 and was a training camp standout before making the 53-man roster. However, as has been the case for his career, injuries were a major issue that helped derail him.
The 27-year-old suffered a hamstring injury to start the season, forcing him on Injured Reserve. He then re-injured his hamstring in Week 11, which led to his being placed on IR a second time, ending his season.
In all, Johnson played in just seven games, tallying only nine catches for 160 yards. He did record one 100-yard contest, but also had five games with eight yards or less, including four with zero.
