Former Tennessee Titans defensive lineman Kevin Strong has found a new home with the Arizona Cardinals.
The Cardinals announced on Wednesday that they have agreed to terms with Strong on a one-year deal. The financial terms of the contract were not disclosed.
Strong spent a season-plus with the Titans, first coming aboard in November of 2021 when he was signed to the practice squad. The 26-year-old appeared in 16 games (one start) in 2022, tallying 23 tackles and two passes defensed.
The most memorable moment for Strong in Tennessee wasn’t a good one, as his Week 12 unnecessary roughness penalty against the Cincinnati Bengals thwarted Tennessee’s chances of winning the game.
The former undrafted free agent out of Texas-San Antonio already has a connection to his new team, as former Titans director of player personnel, Monti Ossenfort, was hired as the Cardinals’ general manager earlier this offseason.
On top of his stint in Tennessee, Strong also spent time with the Detroit Lions.
