Former This Morning regular Ranj Singh has released a statement on why he left the show amid ITV's 'toxic culture. The resident doctor, who's real name is Ranjit Singh, had worked on the show alongside Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby since 2016, The Mirror reports.
When he left the ITV show over a year ago, he says he put a formal complaint in about a bully on the set. Amid the ongoing controversy surrounding claims that ITV bosses 'covered-up' Phillip Schofield's affair with a young showrunner while he was still married, his former co-star Ranj took to Twitter on Sunday to shed light on why he ultimately decided to leave the broadcaster.
In a lengthy statement, Ranj said: "Lots of journalists have been contacting me this weekend enquiring about this, so I think it’s only right that I clarify things. There is so much more I could say, but for now I hope my concerns will finally be taken seriously, and something good comes from all this.
