A celebrity who knows Strictly Come Dancing like the back of their hand will be helming up the dance competition's spin-off show It Takes Two when it returns to our screens later this year.
It was announced this evening that the popular BBC Two spin-off will now be hosted by Fleur East, who competed in last year’s series with Vito Coppola. The pair made it all the way to the final, which was ultimately won by wildlife presenter Hamza Yassin and professional Jowita Przystał.
Speaking on The One Show this evening (June 16), Fleur said she ‘could not believe’ she had landed the new TV presenting role.

Asked about how she felt, having kept the secret for so long, she said: “It’s a lot of relief because the stress is real.
“At the same time, because I’m such a huge fan of the show I’m just so excited.”
Fleur will replace TV presenter Rylan Clark, who announced in April this year that he would not be returning to the show after three years. "The time has come for me to pass on the baton to someone else and explore what else life has for me,” he said in a statement at the time. "Thank you Strictly, you will always have my heart… and dancing feet."
Joining Fleur on It Takes Two will be former Strictly professional Janette Manrara, who has co-presented the show since 2021.
Strictly Come Dancing presenters Claudia Winkleman and Tess Daly will return for the upcoming 21st series of the hit BBC show, alongside judges Craig Revel Horwood, Motsi Mabuse, Anton Du Beke and Shirley Ballas.
