Former State pathologist Dr Marie Cassidy is set to put on her dancing shoes to take part in Dancing With The Stars.

Marie, who was the first woman to be state pathologist in Ireland, said she is determined to have fun during her time on the hit RTE show.

Marie said: “I haven’t stopped smiling since I was asked to be part of Dancing With The Stars.
