Former state Liberal leader admits supplying drugs

Former South Australian opposition leader David Speirs has pleaded guilty to charges of supplying drugs to two people, committed while he was still the leader of the state's Liberal Party.

Speirs, 40, appeared in Adelaide Magistrates Court on Thursday, where his counsel told Magistrate Brian Nitschke that agreement had been reached with prosecutors and the "matters have been resolved".
