Concern is building over the welfare of former St Helens and Wigan Warriors prop Bryn Hargreaves after he was formally reported missing by authorities in the USA.
Hargreaves, who also appeared for the likes of Bradford Bulls during a playing career at the highest level of rugby league, now lives across the Atlantic in Morgantown, West Virginia. However, he has not been seen for two weeks.
That has led to the Monongalia County Sheriff’s office to put out an appeal asking for anyone to come forward with information about the 36-year-old's whereabouts.
Anyone with information is urged to call the Sheriff’s Department or leave private messages on the Sheriff’s Facebook page, by searching for 'Bryn Jack'.
Hargreaves started his career with the Warriors, making his Super League debut in 2004. He would switch clubs for the 2007 season though, joining the Saints and becoming a pivotal part of their side under Daniel Anderson's tenure.
He won a World Club Challenge title with the Saints and appeared in two Super League Grand Finals before joining Bradford Bulls in 2011.
However, at the age of just 26, he would call time on his career at the conclusion of the 2012 season. He has since relocated to America, but has now not been seen for a fortnight, leading to authorities in West Virginia asking for help in finding Hargreaves.
St Helens themselves have retweeted messages asking for help in finding Hargreaves, while his former team-mate, Paul Sculthorpe, tweeted: "Please RT. He’s a good fella Bryn..hopefully he is found safe and well."
