They say Father Time is undefeated, but right now, he is having one heckuva time prevailing over former Seattle Seahawks linebacker Bobby Wagner. The recently turned 34-year old future Hall of Famer just earned himself yet another accolade in his already impressive career.
The annual Top 100 players list is currently being revealed, and once more, Wagner finds himself among the best in the league. For his efforts in 2023, Wagner comes in at No. 59 overall. This is three spots higher than he was following his lone season with the Los Angeles Rams.
This marks the sixth consecutive appearance on the Top 100 list, and the eighth overall in his career.

Wagner’s 2023 was one of the better seasons in his career, from a raw statistical standpoint. Wagner played in all 17 games and set a personal best with 183 total tackles – which led the entire NFL, mind you.
Although Wagner has moved on to the Washington Commanders, his appearance marks the fourth Seahawk to make the 2024 list. Wagner was preceded by safety Julian Love (No. 95), cornerback Riq Woolen (No. 91) and superstar wide receiver DK Metcalf (No. 84). Obviously, Wagner is the highest ranked Seahawk… so far.
It was unfortuante the reunion between Wagner and Seattle was shortlived, lasting only the duration of the 2023 season. But Wagner gave the 12th Man one last season of greatness. Now he heads to the nation’s capital, the “other Washington,” to show he still has plenty of gas left in the tank.
I would not be surprised to see him back on the Top 100 list this time next sumer.
