A former Scots rugby star has said that homeless people "don't belong" in Edinburgh's Old Town.

Norrie Rown first landed in hot water after protesting against the opening of a homeless support centre in 2019.

He put up posters which read that Edinburgh City Council's decision would "bringing 1,100 junkies to a street near you."
