A former Clyde FM presenter used a perverted dating profile to prey on vulnerable children in the Philippines.
Mark Page, who also worked at Scot FM, was branded 'the embodiment of depravity' by a judge as he was sentenced to 12 years in prison, Teesside Live reports.
The 63-year-old even haggled over the price of a sexual encounter with 12-year-old girl and a boy of 13, claiming that 3,000 pesos - roughly £44 - was too expensive.
Teesside Crown Court heard how Page went by the name of 'Pancho' on the Filipino dating site Find Your Filipino Beauty to try and meet young girls.
Page, of Snowdrop Close in Stockton, tried to claim that his accounts were hacked and that someone else must have used Skype and phone when the online chats occurred between 2016 and 2019.
But members of the jury saw through his lies and found him guilty of four out of the five charges he was accused of.
Now Page's profile on Find Your Filipino Beauty has been released by Cleveland Police and the Crown Prosecution Service (CPS).
The account shows a picture of him where he describes himself as someone who 'works hard and plays hard too'.
His profile reads: "I hope you are nice, cute, pretty and easy to talk to. Hope that can turn to dating etc. Want a real person please DO NOT contact me if you're going to tell me any of the following 'I have a problem' or 'I have a big problem.
"Not looking for someone who wants money for internet, WiFi, medical bills, laptop repairs, rent, long sad stories about broken mobiles needing money, money for your niece's birthday party or loan until payday."
The court heard that Page's crimes including sending graphic messages about sex acts he wanted school children to perform.
Cleveland Police has since celebrated his lengthy sentence following their work on the investigation which the judge praised.
Detective Sergeant Kevin Carter from the Paedophile Online Investigation Team, said: "I'm very pleased with the sentence I think it reflects the gravity of what Mr Page did. He didn't want to take responsibility during the proceedings or the investigation.
"It's been a very public trial as a result of Mr Page's local celebrity. I would like to think a lot of people are looking on and taking note of the sentencing.
“I believe this sentence means the children of the Philippines will be that bit safer, not just because Page is starting a prison sentence, but because others intent on causing children harm in this part of the world may now think twice, in the knowledge that Cleveland Police and other UK Forces will continue to work closely with social media networks and our partners in the National Crime Agency around the world to eradicate the sexual exploitation of children."
