Recently, two women testified to the House Ethics Committee regarding allegations against former Rep. Matt Gaetz, who was President-elect Donald Trump's pick for attorney general. According to their lawyer, the women claimed they were paid for 'sexual favors' by Gaetz. One of the women also testified that she witnessed Gaetz engaging in sexual activity with her underage friend in 2017.
Despite these accusations, Gaetz has consistently denied any wrongdoing. The lawyer representing the women mentioned that his client did not believe Gaetz was aware of the friend's underage status at the time of the incident.
