Hamilton Accies boss John Rankin has revealed he signed former Burnley kid Joe McGlynn following rave reviews from former Rangers and Liverpool midfielder Charlie Adam.
Rankin snapped up McGlynn on a permanent deal earlier this week to bolster his front line for the League One campaign and it comes after a glowing report from former Scotland star Adam, who is currently the loan manager at Burnley.
McGlynn's arrival has finally come to fruition after a move fell through in January and he joined English National League North side Kiddieminster, while he was still contracted to The Clarets.
