Former Public Service Ombudsman for Wales, Nick Bennett, has been appointed a director with global property advisory firm Savills.
In his new role as director and head of economics Wales, Mr Bennett, will lead in areas including economics and grant funding consultancy in Wales.
Llangefni-born Mr Bennett held the ombudsman role for seven years, prior to which he was chief executive of umbrella body for housing associations in Wales, Community Housing Cymru.
Mr Bennett said: “I am delighted to be joining Savills, which has an excellent team in Wales, with significant supporting infrastructure and firepower across the wider business. The opportunity to lead a team focused on delivering sustainable growth across all sectors in Wales and collaborating with many authorities and organisations I have worked alongside throughout my career is very exciting.
