Former President Trump Leaves Butler Area After Rally Shooting

Pennsylvania Governor Josh Shapiro has confirmed that former President Donald Trump has left the Butler, Pennsylvania, area following the shooting incident that occurred during a rally on Saturday. Governor Shapiro stated that under the protection of the US Secret Service and with the assistance of the Pennsylvania State Police, former President Trump has departed the Butler area.

Shapiro expressed gratitude that Trump's team has reported him to be safe and wished him a full and speedy recovery. He also extended condolences for the loss of life and offered prayers for the two victims currently receiving treatment.

The Governor commended the law enforcement agencies for their swift response and efforts in ensuring the safety of the former president and bringing the situation under control. Federal law enforcement officials will continue to lead the investigation into the shooting incident, while the Pennsylvania State Police will oversee the investigation concerning the other victims.

Recognizing the impact of the event on the community, Shapiro urged unity and respect among fellow Pennsylvanians, calling for a collective condemnation of the violence witnessed in Butler. He emphasized the importance of coming together to denounce such unacceptable acts of violence.
