Former President Gotabaya Rajapaksa to return to Sri Lanka from Singapore

Colombo: Sri Lanka's former President Gotabaya Rajapaksa is not in hiding and is expected to return to the country from Singapore, Cabinet spokesman Bandula Gunawardena said on Tuesday.

During a press conference in Colombo, Gunawardena said that Gotabaya Rajapaksa went to Singapore through formal channels and it was not accurate to say that he was hiding, Xinhua News Agency reported.
