A former Poundland employee has shared the one complaint that she heard from disgruntled shoppers 'almost every day'. Holly Laing worked at the shop in 2015 and claims consumers were always 'baffled' by the fact that select products cost more than a £1, reports the Mirror.
The 22-year-old worked for the retail giants for three months as a Christmas temp and states that out of all the complaints she heard during her short spell, one comment got on her nerves more than anything else. The TikToker explained in a hilarious viral video that whilst she was working on the tills, she would often have people befuddled when their shopping total came to more than they expected.
The Northampton woman shared a sketch on her TikTok account titled @holly_laing in which she played out the usual interaction she experienced whilst working at Poundland between herself and a customer. In the silly sketch, the customer was trying to purchase an item worth £3.
