A former member of staff at Pandora has shared secrets about her time working at the retailer.
Pandora is well loved across Liverpool known for offering a range of jewellery, from rings and bracelets to earrings and necklaces. However, no matter how much you consider yourself an experienced Pandora shopper there will be some store secrets you may not be aware of.
A former staff member has revealed some unusual things about the retailer - including the reason why customers would sometimes suck rings off their fingers while on the shop floor, reports the Mirror . Ellie Burnett took to TikTok to spill the secrets.

According to Ellie, there were even times that she allegedly got into trouble for her appearance. She also answered a question many people seem to ask her - do people buy engagement rings from Pandora?
In the video, Ellie said: She said: "So I used to work at Pandora, and I wanted to share my personal experience of working there. So I think one of the things that's commonly asked is do people buy engagement rings from there? And yes, they do. I had quite a few people that came in and bought engagement rings."
She also said that sometimes customers would get rings stuck on their fingers if they tried on a size that was too small. Ellie admitted that they had to try and help the customer with cold water or soapy water to try and help them get the ring off, but some customers couldn't wait for the help.
Instead, Ellie said, they’d suck the rings off their finger. She added: "And there were some people that would just put the ring in their mouth and suck it off".
She confirmed that she worked at Pandora pre-Covid, so people were potentially not as hygiene-conscious as they are now. Ellie also spoke about a time when she was told she didn't look presentable enough as she would've been late if she took the time to apply make-up - so her mum had to bring her cosmetics to the store.
Other people were shocked at the revelations, but ex-Pandora workers also said they related to the experience. One said: "Yesss I worked there too this is all so true!"
Another wrote: "I remember having one chipped nail and was told to go buy some nail polish and fix it before I could be on the shop floor."
A third added: "Currently an employee and Pandora and it hasn’t changed. The ring sucking [vomit emoji]".
In reference to Ellie’s make-up story, another claimed: "100% it’s not right at all. I went in one day with just eyelash extensions and they suggested I wore a bit of lippy and concealer", followed by an eye-roll emoji.
