Former Green Bay Packers running back Tyler Goodson wasn’t out of work for long. The 22-year-old signed with the practice squad of the Indianapolis Colts on Tuesday.
The Packers waived Goodson with an injury designation on Aug. 29. He went unclaimed off waivers and reverted to injured reserve, and the Packers released him with an injury settlement last week.

He spent last season on the practice squad of the Packers, setting up an opportunity to make the 53-man roster as the No. 3 running back behind Aaron Jones and A.J. Dillon to open 2023, but a shoulder injury suffered during the preseason opener in Cincinnati ended his training camp and chance to make the roster.
The Packers kept Emanuel Wilson — who led the NFL in rushing yards during the preseason — on the 53-man roster, and added Patrick Taylor to the practice squad. Taylor rushed five times for 22 yards and played nine special teams snaps in the 38-20 win over the Bears.
