Hey, remember Keelan Doss? The Raiders do. The Alameda native and UC Davis grad was signed by the Raiders as an undrafted free agent back in 2019 and spent two seasons with the team. Well, he’s back.
The team signed Doss to the 90-man training camp roster on Wednesday, filling the hole left from the sudden retirement of Michael Gallup.
Doss actually appeared in a Raiders uniform once since the team moved to Las Vegas. He spent the entire 2020 season on the team’s practice squad, and played a total of three snaps in one game with no catches.
Since then Doss has bounced around the league a bit. He didn’t appear in any games in 2021 or 2022 while spending time on the practice squad or offseason roster for the Falcons, Jets, and Giants.
He would re-emerge last season with the Chargers, appearing in five games with his first catches since his rookie season four years earlier. He finished with six catches for 33 yards.
Along with the move to add Doss, the team waived/injured G Jake Johanning and signed G Corey Luciano.
