Former Newcastle United youth team star Bobby Clark made his debut for Liverpool during the 9-0 rout of AFC Bournemouth.
Jurgen Klopp - who held face-to-face talks with Clark to sign him from Newcastle - has described the 17-year-old as "unbelievable" and says the player has made "real steps" in first-team training. But the teenager has now advanced to a senior bow, playing the final seven minutes of the hammering of the Cherries at Anfield.
Clark and his family, including Newcastle icon Lee Clark, watched on with pride as he entered the hallowed turf at Anfield to play his first minutes and in doing so became the first player to be born in 2005 to appear in the Premier League.

Clark replaced Trent Alexander-Arnold for the final throes of the game against Scott Parker's Bournemouth. Liverpool beat off competition from Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester City for Clark's signature and Klopp's determination to take him to Merseyside has clearly paid dividends.
