Shocked former neighbours of a Lancashire man shot dead after taking four people hostage at a synagogue in the US have branded him a rude person who would often "lose his temper".
Startling claims from those who previously lived close to the 44-year-old in Blackburn were made today, with one former neighbour even admitting he was a "nasty man" and that they are "not surprised at what has happened."
Another told the M.E.N that he was occasionally visited by the police, after it was confirmed he had a criminal record.
