Former Michigan State commit Jaylon Braxton is officially heading to Arkansas.
Braxton announced his commitment to the Razorbacks on Saturday, which was just over three weeks since he committed to Michigan State. Braxton — a four-star cornerback in the 2023 class — committed to the Spartans on June 14 after he took an official visit to Michigan State. The following weekend he took an official visit to Arkansas and it was during that visit that it appears he flipped to the Razorbacks. Numerous recruiting insiders predicted he’d decommit from Michigan State and commit to Arkansas following that visit, and that is surely what happened.
Braxton is ranked as the No. 27 cornerback and No. 44 player from Texas in 247Sports’ composite rankings for the 2023 class. He hails from Frisco, Texas, and plays for Lone Star High.
Thank you to all the coaches who have took the time to recruit me. I am officially done with recruitment. 104% committed to The University of Arkansas WPS. @CoachSamPittman @Dbowman85 @Coach_Odom @Reel1sRecruits @rledits24 pic.twitter.com/Biq4Q5xiZk
