Former Motherwell winger Steven Lawless has re-joined Partick Thistle on a two-year deal as the Maryhill club gear up for a Championship title tilt.
Ian McCall moved for the 31-year-old following his release by Dunfermline at the end of last season.
Lawless, from Hamilton, previously played for Thistle from 2012 to 2018, helping them to win their first promotion to the Premier League in nine seasons, but was released when they were relegated via the play-offs at the end of the 2017-18 season.
He scored 35 goals in 228 appearances for the Jags in that period.
Lawless signed for Motherwell in 2021, but played just nine times for the Fir Park club.
Thistle boss Ian McCall told the club's website PTFC : "I'm very happy to get the deal for Stevie sorted.
"The wide areas were an area we felt we needed to add to, ahead of the new season, and bringing him to the group gives us some real creativity in that area.
"He's a player who can set others up or be a goal threat himself, and I don't think you can have too many players like that.
"On top of that, he's been here before and knows exactly what it means to play for Partick Thistle and represent this club every week.
"He was part of a very successful Thistle team in the second tier previously, and hopefully he can be part of another one this season."
