A former Miss Australia and previous Labor member of Tasmanian parliament has been accused of emotionally abusing her partner and assaulting him over the course of a decade.

Kathryn Isobel Hay, 47, is yet to enter a plea to the family violence charge of emotional abuse or intimidation, allegedly spanning from 2011 to 2022.
