Former Manchester United forward Cristiano Ronaldo has confirmed he will be staying at Al Nassr this summer.
Ronaldo left Old Trafford in November following a controversial interview with Piers Morgan. A month later, the 38-year-old reached an agreement to sign for the Saudi Arabian Pro League side until June 2025.
Despite scoring 14 goals since the turn of the year, reports had suggested Ronaldo wanted to leave Al Nassr. It was claimed the likes of Newcastle United and old club Real Madrid were interested in his signature.

However, in an interview with Sky Sports, Ronaldo pledged his commitment to the Saudi club. "I am happy here, I want to continue here, I will continue here," the forward said.
"In my opinion if they continue to do the work that they want to do for the next five years, I think the Saudi League can be the fifth [league] in the world." During his time in the Middle East, the 38-year-old has endured some controversial moments.
On several occasions, Ronaldo has seemingly lost his cool with his teammates and coaching staff. While his personal form has been good, Al Nassr also missed out on silverware after finishing second to Al Ittihad.
When asked about the biggest challenge of playing in Saudi Arabia, he responded: "We always have toughest parts but as I told you before in Europe, we have the same issues. Maybe because in Europe we train more in the morning and here we train in the afternoon, or night.
"When you start Ramadan, we are training at 10 o'clock at night, it was so strange. This experience, memories, situations they are different. I like to live these moments because you learn with these cultures.
"It is difficult but it is nothing I have not seen before." In recent weeks, Ronaldo's rival Lionel Messi has been linked with a move to the Middle East after it was confirmed he would be leaving PSG while the Portuguese star's old teammate Karim Benzema has also been touted as moving to Saudi Arabia.
When asked about the possibility of other stars making the switch to the Middle East, Ronaldo added: "If they are coming, big players and big names, young players and old players, they are very welcome because if that happens the league will improve.
"Age is not important but competing players, young players, depend on many factors."
