Former Manchester City star Yaya Toure has lavished praise on Arsenal midfielder Thomas Partey amid his side's push for the Premier League title this season. The Gunners currently sit five points clear of their rivals in the race to the top of the league, with 12 games to get themselves over the line.
They managed such a margin after a last-gasp winner over Bournemouth at the weekend, where the side had to fight from 2-0 down. Partey and Ben White pulled the game level before Reiss Nelson's finish in the seventh minute of injury time ensured the north London outfit stayed ahead in the race for the title.
"The team and individuals today showed a different level of will to win and determination and initiative," Mikel Arteta responded when asked about his side's ability to bounce back. "Because when the game gets ugly there is a moment when you can lose momentum and start to hide and navigate through the game.
