"Former Love Island star Olivia, explores this new, apparently emancipated sex industry, which, over the past 18 months of lockdowns has exploded into the mainstream. Women from comfortable, respectable homes have discovered that seemingly easy money can be made, without the need to make physical contact, by connecting with men on social media, who pay to exchange messages, look at sexy images and watch clips.
"And as sites like OnlyFans become billion dollar industries the numbers are set to keep on rising..."
The series will run throughout the month of July, and will focus on a different aspect of social media content selling every week. Episode one, which aired on Tuesday July 5 at 10pm, centred on OnlyFans.

Episode two will feature the existence of explicit websites, with the blurb reading: "This week Olivia delves into the world of porn. With consumption at an all time high, more people than ever are entering into the world of adult entertainment in a bid to turn clicks into cash.
"Olivia will find out just how lucrative it can be, by getting up close and very personal with the top UK performers, including Josh who has had his manhood immortalised into a life size model and can earn up to 20 thousand pounds a month. Olivia will learn first hand the tricks of becoming a modern day pornstar, but will she be tempted to have a go herself?"
Speaking about the programme, Olivia said: "A few years ago, the idea that many regular women would soon be making their living by selling sexual content online might have seemed a bit extraordinary. Now it’s becoming mainstream and some of the money being made is reportedly huge. I’m absolutely fascinated to discover what it’s like for those involved and to get inside this world to reveal all."
The next episode of Olivia Attwood: Getting Filthy Rich will air on Tuesday, July 12 at 10pm on ITV2. The episodes are available for catch-up on the ITV Hub.
