Laura Anderson discussed an episode of Love Island earlier this week, suggesting that scenes of the islanders declaring their love for each other were "a bit staged".
The former islander, 33 - who was a finalist on the ITV2 show in 2018 - has been among those watching the latest series, which is set to conclude on Monday night (March 13).
She took to Instagram yesterday to share her thoughts, speaking about the show in a video on the platform after addressing her critics over an unrelated post of hers'.
Discussing the latest episode of Love Island, the former islander questioned why the cast were "all just declaring their love for each other" in last night's episode.
She said on her Instagram Story: "On another note, Love Island tonight is really cringing me out. [...] Why are they all just declaring their love for each other? It's a bit staged, no?"
Seemingly mimicking the cast before questioning such, she said: "'I'm falling for you, I'm falling for you, I'm falling for you, I'm falling for you.' Are you though? Are you really?"
The Celebs Go Dating star however didn't give examples of any particular scenes that had prompted her comments.
The latest instalment of Love Island - which aired last night - had featured the aftermath of the islanders' talent show and saw them take on a cocktail making challenge in pairs.
There were six couples still in the villa during yesterday's instalment of the ITV2 show, with one of the pairs dumped from the villa towards the end of the episode.
The episode featured loved-up moments between the couples in the villa, as their experience in South Africa comes to a close ahead of the upcoming final in a few days.
Such scenes included Tom Clare, 23, expressing his feelings for fellow islander Samie Elishi, 23. Tom told her in the episode: "I didn't think I'd like fall for someone and I have".
Casey O'Gorman, 26, expressed similar feelings for fellow islander Rosie Seabrook, 24, whilst they discussed their romance. They however were later dumped from the villa.
Love Island continues tonight from 9pm on ITV2 and ITVX. You can catch up on previous episodes through ITVX.
