Former Leeds United striker Jermaine Beckford is expecting Raphinha to depart the club this summer. Raphinha has already been linked with a move away from Elland Road this summer, with Barcelona understood to be very keen, while Liverpool, Chelsea and PSG are also reportedly interested.
Raphinha has been in good form for most of the season at the Whites, with his goals and performances in the first half of the campaign keeping Leeds out of the bottom three. The Brazilian has tailed off slightly since the turn of the new year but has still been able to register 10 goals and three assists in the Premier League.
And with Leeds having failed to hit the heights of last season – where they finished ninth on 59 points – reports of a move away this summer have gathered pace in recent months. But as Leeds have regressed, Raphinha has gone the opposite way – establishing himself as a regular on the international scene for Brazil now after only receiving his first cap in October.

Raphinha’s agent Deco – who is also the South American scout for Barcelona – has already held talks with the Catalan outfit regarding a summer move, though nothing has taken place between the two clubs as of yet. And with those reports having emerged strongly in recent weeks, former Whites hero Beckford is pretty certain of a summer exit for the Brazilian due to the way he has ‘carried’ Leeds over the course of the season.
Speaking on Premier League Productions, via MOTLeedsNews, he said: “If I’m being honest, I don’t see him staying. He’s that good. He’s been carrying this Leeds side.”
