Seven-time Jeopardy! champion, Dr. Courtney Shah, has died at the age of 52 following a battle with brain cancer. The anesthesiologist and television quiz champion passed away at her home after electing to receive hospice care during the final stage of her illness.

News of her death was shared by her daughter, who reflected on the family's difficult journey and the support they received throughout Shah's final days. Shah, who became a fan favorite after winning seven consecutive games on Jeopardy! in 2018, is being remembered for both her accomplishments on the quiz show and her career in medicine.
