Former ITV Corrie star Lucy Fallon reveals new Posh Spice style hair after opting for sophisticated bob

Former Corrie star Lucy Fallon was in the mood for change as she she switched hair styles for the summer. The Bethany Platt actress adopted a different look as she posed on her Instagram after going in for the chop.

Posing for the camera with a natural makeup look to allow her swingy bob to do the talking, the star captioned the snap: "Chop Chop." She looked sensational with her Posh Spice-alike sophisticated style, conjuring 90s nostalgia with her sleek blunt cut.

This month Lucy has been serving up some seriously stylish looks as she partied with pals at Lytham Festival. The Blackpool actress looked sharp in the sunshine in a smart black suit worn with a lacy bralet top.

Lucy teamed her suit with cute chunky black wellies with a striking green sole as she smiled for the camera in snaps shared on her Instagram. "A seriously good weekend of seriously good s***." she captioned her post.

The 26-year-old star often shares her top fashion finds and tips. She played Bethany, the daughter of Sarah Platt, in the ITV soap from 2015 until 2020. During her time on the Manchester-based show the character was at the centre of a hard-hitting and highly acclaimed storyline that saw her teen character groomed by older man Nathan Curtis after she was bullied at school.

The tanning shop boss was arrested trying to traffic Bethany out of the country after she approached a woman in a service station and asked for help. The traumatic experience haunted Bethany and after landing a job in a lapdancing club she glassed a customer after having a horrific flashback of Nathan.

The character left for a writing job in London following an ill-fated romance with widower Daniel Osbourne who proposed to her on the rebound from the death of his wife Sinead. In May 2019, announcing her decision to leave, Lucy wrote in a statement on Twitter: "After the most incredible four years, I have made the extremely difficult decision to leave Coronation Street at the end of my contract in 2020.

And fans are missing her on the soap. annapearman asked her on Instagram: "When are you coming back to the cobbles then Lucy as Bethany Platt?" And selleck719 agreed: "We miss you on the cobbles."

At the 2022 British Soap Awards former co-star Colson Smith, who plays Bethany's ex Craig Tinker, told Digital Spy t hat he was eager to see her make comeback. He said: "Everyone would be very happy if she came back."
