Former Ireland AM star Sinead Desmond has “settled” her gender pay dispute with Virgin Media Ireland.
The long-running legal battle continued for five years after the television presenter left the network in 2017.
The case returned to the courts on Tuesday after it was listed in the High Court, RSVP Live reports.

However, court records stated that it had been struck out on consent which indicated a settlement, reported the Irish Mail on Sunday.
Sinead left her role on Ireland AM, which was known as TV3, in 2017 due to an alleged pay dispute with the station while working alongside then co-host Mark Cagney.
It is believed that she filed a claim for constructive dismissal because of the disparity in their pay.
Virgin Media has claimed that Mark was "not an appropriate comparator" because he appeared on the show as a contractor rather than a member of staff like Sinead.
They also cited his "star power" and his “established national profile” as an advantage in his pay negotiations.
The Workplace Relations Commission (WRC) rejected these claims and stated that Mark and Sinead could be compared as employees of the station in the terms of the Employment Equality Acts.
Virgin Media claimed that the WRC were wrong in their decision with the case being forwarded to the High Court.
It has now been reported that their dispute has come to an end with court records indicating agreement has been reached between the parties.
Sinead joined TV3 back in 2006 and stayed with the station for 11 years before her departure.
Mark announced he was leaving Ireland AM in July 2019. He was replaced by Karen Koster and Ciara Doherty, who have since moved on to present other Virgin Media shows.
Ciara left to front The Tonight Show, while Karen moved on to the Six O'Clock Show.
The pair were replaced by former Ireland rugby star Tommy Bowe who joined the Ireland AM presenting team alongside Muireann O'Connell and Alan Hughes.
The weekend presenting duo are Simon Delaney and Elaine Crowley who returned to the programme after her self-entitled show ended.
