Former Hollywood star jailed after breaking into home while drunk

A Hollywood one-hit wonder has been sentenced to prison for breaking into a film while drunk after he missed the last bus home.

Jason Hoganson, who starred in 1988 film Empire State, spiralled out of control as he struggled to deal with his fame and traumatic childhood.

The 51-year-old has racked up more than 100 convictions for drink and drug abuses over the years, with his latest offence carried out on April 19 this year.
