Jason Cummings started his Central Coast Mariners season in stunning fashion with a delightful lob in a four goal thriller - but was denied a BICYCLE kick effort after a VAR check.
The former Hibs star - who also had spells at the likes of Rangers and Dundee during his time in Scotland - has been nothing short of sensational since making the move to Australia. His form and character has quickly helped him settle down and establish himself as a key player for his club and a fans' favourite.
His form and goals recently earned him a first international cap for the Australia national team under Graham Arnold and he wasted no time in making an impression by finding the net in a 2-0 win over New Zealand. That was a warm-up clash for the World Cup with the Socceroos heading to Qatar the the finals, starting next month, with big decisions - including the inclusion of Cummings - to be made. However, he has done his chances no harm once again as he picked up where he left off last season.

The ex-Rangers and Easter Road favourite had the ball in the net after 37 minutes against Wellington Phoenix with a lovely bicycle kick effort, but VAR put a stop to any celebrations with the goal ruled out.
However, he wasn't to be denied as he got his A-League campaign up and running with a delightful lob to put his side 2-1 ahead on the day before having to settle for a share of the spoils after a late leveller on matchday one of the new campaign.
Next up is a clash at home with Perth Glory, with three important points on the line at home.
The match will be played at the Central Coast Stadium on Sunday and Cummings will be going all out to add to his goal tally and keep hitting the back of the net in his bid for a spot in the Socceroos' final squad for Qatar 2022.
They open their World Cup bid against France on November 22 before games with Tunisia and Denmark in their section.
