Former head of Miss France beauty pageant, Geneviève de Fontenay, dies aged 90

Geneviève de Fontenay, a controverisal figure who headed up the Miss France beauty pageant between 1981 and 2009 has died at the age of 90, according to her family.

Geneviève de Fontenay died on the night of Monday to Tuesday, her son Xavier told the private television channel TF1 on Wednesday.
