The Arizona Cardinals did not announce the move on Tuesday but they made an addition to the offensive line. According to NFL transaction report, they signed former Atlanta Falcons offensive lineman Elijah Wilkinson.
Wilkinson has been in the league since 2017, spending four seasons with the Denver Broncos, one with the Chicago Bears and one with the Falcons.
He has started at guard and at tackle in his career, starting 26 of his 44 career games played.
He is 6-foot-6 and 322 pounds. He played in and started nine games for the Falcons last season.
Based on other recent moved, his deal is likely for one year and will be around the league minimum.
He gives the Cardinals another experienced veteran in the room to compete for a spot on the roster and potentially in the starting lineup.
