Former Dublin GAA star Philly McMahon and his wife Sarah Lacey have welcomed their first child.
The couple shared the happy news of the arrival of their baby boy on social media on Friday.
Taking to Instagram, eight-time All-Ireland winner Philly revealed to his followers that they had welcomed a new addition to the family: "Welcome to the world Baby Leannain (Lennon) Mc Mahon.
"Thank you @sarahlaceybindi for bringing this special little man into the world you are amazing.
He also thanked all the staff in the Rotunda hospital for their "unconditional care" for his wife Sarah and newborn son Leannain.

Posting a cute snap on his Instagram of the couple with their two dogs, Chows Chows named Hugo and Mello, he added a baby and a bottle emoji with the caption: "When four becomes five".
Philly retired from Dublin duty in December 2021.
The couple got married in December 2019 in the SS Mary and Laurence Church, Crookstown, Athy, which was followed by a reception party held in Kilkea Castle.
