Former Disney child star sues studio alleging she was raped by employee during 2001 movie shoot

  • Former child actor Raquel Lee Bolleau filed a lawsuit against Disney alleging negligence and sexual abuse during the 2001 production of the film The Poof Point.
  • The suit claims a middle-aged male employee groomed, sexually harassed, and raped Bolleau, who was a minor at the time, in Salt Lake City and on a flight back to California.
  • According to the filing, Disney permitted a sexually hostile environment on set and ignored clear signs that Bolleau was being abused by the employee.
  • Bolleau alleges that Disney executives blamed her for being out of control on set, failed to provide medical care, and ultimately harmed her acting career.
  • The lawsuit was filed in Los Angeles County Superior Court and is seeking unspecified damages.
