Former cricketer and selector Ajit Agarkar sold his Bandra West residential property at Rs 32,547 per sq feet; check the property price trend in Mumbai

Former Indian cricketer Ajit Agarkar has sold his residential property for Rs 4 crore in Mumbai's Bandra West. This property is located in the Jewel Co-op Housing Society in Bandra West and has a built-up area of 114.15 sq. m. (1,229 sq. ft.) and includes two car parking spaces. The per square feet price comes to Rs 4 crore/1229 sq ft= Rs 32,547 per sq feet.

The transaction was registered in April 2026 and involved a stamp duty payment of Rs 24 lakh and registration charges of Rs 30,000, according to property registration documents reviewed by Square Yards (www.squareyards.com) on the website of the Inspector General of Registration (IGR).

Property price trend in Mumbai

According to Square Yards website, Mumbai's property rates have increased from Rs 35,550 per sq ft in September 2025 to Rs 38,600 per sq ft in March 2026. This trend reflects consistent market appreciation over consecutive quarters, moving from Rs 37,700 in December 2025 to the current levels.

Within Mumbai, the south region leads the price at Rs 46,350 per sq ft. In contrast, the Mumbai Harbour area stands at Rs 37,250 per sq ft, while the Western Suburbs and Central Suburbs offer more accessible options at Rs 34,900 and Rs 33,000 per sq ft, respectively.
