Former Coronation Street star Faye Brookes is back on home turf in Manchester - and was turning heads in a barely-there ensemble as she headed for dinner at The Ivy. Faye is in town ahead of her starring role in Chicago at the Opera House, which opens on Monday night.
But before that, she got to join her Manchester-based family to celebrate her brother's birthday in style at The Ivy in Spinningfields. Faye, who stars as Roxie Hart in the hit musical, wore a wow white and nude panelled corset dress for the party, teamed with pretty white bowed heels.
The actress was all smiles as she joined her younger brother Jack who is celebrating his 30th birthday. Faye helped Jack's partner carry his birthday cake and balloons for the special dinner at The Ivy.

Faye had earlier shared an emotional post toasting her brother on her Instagram page - and fans were quick to say just how alike Faye and Jack are. Faye even affectionately calls her brother her "twin".
Faye wrote: "My brother is turning 30... Looking back at all our memories shared together I don't know whether to laugh or cry... My little brother. My best friend. The one who knows me best.
"The one I grew up attached to (you didn't have a choice). The one who was and is already by my side, the one who would do anything for me, my world, my twin, my absolute rock."
Faye added that her brother is "turning out to be a legend" and that she "couldn't be more proud of the man you are today." Fans were quick to point out their family likeness, with @johnandrew1969 saying: "Faye you are so alike... almost twins".
Meanwhile @nickiut said: "He looks so much like you".
Flixton-raised Faye has previously told of how proud she is of her brother, who was diagnosed with leukaemia when he was aged just 9 and she was 14. He was given the all-clear at the age of 18.
In emotional scenes on ITV's Dancing on Ice, she dedicated her semi-final performance to Tina Turner's Simply the Best to her brother. She went on to finish runner-up in the 2021 series behind presenter Sonny Jay.
Since appearing on the show, she has won her "dream" theatre role in Chicago, which has been on tour across the UK and will head to Manchester Opera House from Monday, May 23. Faye told the MEN that the Manchester dates would be the "highlight of my tour so far" to be back playing to a home crowd in the city.
She said she had always wanted to play the role of Roxie and is "savouring every second" on the tour. She said: "I fought so hard for this role. Roxie is like an onion you can't stop peeling back the layers, so I'm savouring every single second."
Faye has also said that she would love to return to Corrie one day as the soap's Kate Connor. She said she feels grateful that the door was "left very much open" for her character to one day return.
