Discussions over Kieran Tierney’s future are on hold until the summer, according to a top transfer guru.
The former Celtic ace has struggled for regular starts at Arsenal this season after falling behind Oeksandr Zinchenko. This has sparked speculation over what’s next for the Scotland international. And transfer expert Fabrizio Romano believes there is a “genuine chance” he’ll leave North London for pastures new.
Tierney was a star man as Scotland swept aside Spain in their Euro 2024 qualifier on Tuesday. But his opportunities to shine for Mike Arteta’s title chasing Gunners’ have been few and far between, with the 25-year-old’s last start coming in the 1-0 FA Cup loss to Manchester City in January.

Arteta has reportedly refused to negotiate an exit pathway for the full-back until the end of the season. Newcastle United have been linked with a swoop for the man who switched Parkhead for the Emirates in 2019 sealing a £25million switch.
Any move would be closely monitored by Hoops chiefs with Celtic due a slice of the sales fee should Tienery make a move.
Writing for CaughtOffside, Romano said: "Kieran Tierney has a genuine chance to leave Arsenal in the summer.
“This is a possibility but Arsenal don’t want to negotiate now. They decided internally that there must be full focus on winning the Premier League; the big dream!
"So there is no intention to distract the players including those who are not regular starters. In the summer, Arsenal will discuss Tierney’s situation at the end of the season but the defender definitely has the opportunity to experience something new.”
