A former Long Eaton nightclub is to become flats. Erewash Borough Council has granted permission for what used to be called The Factory, in Clifford Street, to be turned into six flats.
The old nightclub was formerly known as Manhattans and in 2019 it underwent a revamp and was turned back into The Factory. The plans were approved last week.
Previously people shared their memories of the former nightclub and said it was ‘ buzzing’ and had ‘some right characters’. It is thought that it stopped trading in 2020 and has been vacant since.
