Former Buckeye signs as undrafted free agent with Chargers

The 2023 NFL draft is in the books, and some homeless Ohio State football players are waiting to be signed. Going undrafted is often better than being selected in the seventh round because at least as an undrafted free agent, you are free to choose your team.

A number of successful former Ohio State Buckeyes have gone undrafted, including Corey Brown, Andrew Norwell and Jake McQuaide. There will most definitely be one that sticks in this class. The most recent former Ohio State player to sign is Cameron Brown with the Los Angeles Chargers.

Brown arrived in Columbus as a four-star recruit and his career was less than spectacular in large part due to injuries. Brown left Ohio State with two seasons of starts under his belt, and he has the potential to stick at the next level. It was not a shock that Brown went undrafted, but we are happy he landed in the NFL and we wish him good luck.
