Former number one overall pick Baker Mayfield is on his third team since leaving the Cleveland Browns, but he is getting another shot to be the guy. On Tuesday the Tampa Bay Buccaneers announced that the former Browns quarterback would be their Week 1 starter.
Mayfield has a great support cast of weapons including wide receiver Mike Evans who has continued to produce no matter the quarterback. It will be interesting to see how long Mayfield holds the job as he’s been unable to stay the starter in Carolina after losing the job in Cleveland and being traded away last offseason.
