The ongoing trial involving former President Donald Trump has revealed new information regarding his contacts prior to taking office. Testimony from Rhona Graff, Trump's former longtime assistant, has provided the jury with a list of contacts associated with Trump.
Madeleine Westerhout, another individual involved in the case, stated that the list included individuals Trump had conversations with before assuming the presidency. Additionally, the list contained names of people who Trump may have been interested in speaking to, potentially to extend invitations to the White House.
During the trial, defense attorney Susan Necheles questioned Westerhout about the contacts on the list, specifically highlighting that many of these individuals never actually communicated with the Oval Office. Westerhout confirmed this observation, indicating that there were indeed numerous names on the list who did not engage with the presidential office.
Necheles further emphasized that these contacts were individuals Trump might have reached out to before officially taking office. Westerhout affirmed this point, solidifying the understanding that the list was comprised of potential connections that Trump could have utilized prior to assuming his presidential duties.
