Former Arsenal and Manchester United defender Mikael Silvestre has named just two Tottenham Hotspur players in his combined north London derby XI.
The Gunners have enjoyed an incredible start to their 2022/23 Premier League campaign, winning 14 of their first 17 fixtures, losing just once in the process. That run of form leaves them sitting five points clear of second-placed Manchester City although the two title rivals are yet to meet yet this term.
Next up for Mikel Arteta's side is a trip to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium to take on local rivals Spurs, who find themselves sitting fifth in the current league standings. Ahead of Sunday's highly-anticipated clash, former Arsenal man Silvestre was asked to make a combined XI between the two bitter foes and the Frenchman was reluctant to include many of Antonio Conte's squad.

"Yeah my combined XI would be Arsenal plus Harry Kane," he told bettingexpert. "I would've said Son. But not right now.
"So no Jesus, you put Kane instead of Nketiah. There’s no room for anybody else. Maybe Romero and Gabriel Magalhaes at the back. Just on the form at the moment."
When asked to predict the outcome of the match, Silvestre added: "It’s hard to predict that one. We know what Arsenal can do but on the other side, Spurs can be very good in the North London Derby.
"I think it’s going to be one of those, Arsenal getting on top or we’ll have a very good fight. Tottenham will obviously be extremely aggressive defensively but offensively, they can find solutions with Son, with Kane and other players around to create chances and score."
"I would go for the second – a big battle."
