Former AMP and Coca-Cola director Catherine Brenner has been elected to the Scentre Group board. (AAP)

Former AMP chair Catherine Brenner, who presided over the infamous fee-for-no-service scandal, has been elected to the board of Westfield owner Scentre Group.

The Australian Shareholders Association (ASA) and shareholder activist Stephen Mayne were among those to speak against Ms Brenner before she was elected at the annual general meeting.
