Former Aga and Marks and Spencer bosses join board of eyewear firm Inspecs as new chief executive takes over

A new chief executive has taken over the helm of Bath-based designer eyewear firm Inspecs, which has also appointed former bosses of Aga Rangemaster and Marks and Spencer to its board.

Richard Peck, who has been a non-executive director at the Aim-listed company since January 2020, took up his new role on Thursday (December 1). The group has also recruited Shaun Smith and Hugo Adams as non-executive directors. Robin Totterman, the company's founder and previous chief executive, will assume the role of executive chair.

Mr Peck has held managing director positions at premium eyewear brand Luxottica Retail Northern Europe and David Clulow opticians. He and Mr Totterman will work "closely together", according to Inspecs, to develop the company’s global ambitions.
