Defender Richie Laryea has refused to be drawn into talking about his future at Nottingham Forest.
The 28-year-old is on loan at Toronto FC in Major League Soccer as their season winds to a close, and he will then be representing Canada on international duty. After that, his future is uncertain and Laryea has not committed to anything beyond the summer.
Asked about his future earlier this week, Laryea insisted he is "taking it day-to-day" and did not say whether he would be playing for Toronto, Forest or elsewhere next season.

“I’m just taking it day-to-day, to be honest," he said in a press conference. "I’m not looking too far forward right now, I’m just focused on the Minnesota game this weekend and getting three points.
"Then once that’s over I’ll look to the Nashville game and then national team and all that stuff, and then back here for another game. And then we’ll just go from there.”
It comes after The Athletic reported that an extension of his loan at Toronto, from whom he joined Forest in 2021, is "likely". Laryea made five appearances for Forest in the Championship en route to promotion in 2021-22.
Should Forest bring back any loanees for next season? Let us know in the comments.
